Hot Wheels Monster Truck: Stunt Mayhem

Unreal Engine 5

As Lead Game Designer I directed the design development of the game from start to finish, shaping the Hot Wheels IP into Mattel's first Monster Truck arcade driving game.

Gameplay-wise I curated the entire driving system of the truck, from the suspensions' behavior up to the physics-based stunt system of the trucks.

I shaped the level design direction of the game, prototyping all the in-game arenas and finalizing many of them.

And system-wise I created an balanced all the score, progression and reward systems of the game.

Monster Energy Supercross 6

For the 2022 Supercross Championship's official videogame, as Level Designer I led the complete overhaul of the Compound (the free-roaming open world area of the game), from the initial concepting and blockout phase up until finalization.

As Track Designer I populated the Compound with racetracks, while as Gameplay Designer I curated the design and balancing of various game features, such as the all new Rhythm Attack mode.

Monster Energy Supercross 5

For the 2021 Supercross Championship's official videogame, as Track Designer I created many of the in-game fictional tracks, and I curated the implementation of the official tracks from the initial photogrammetry up to the final iteration.

As Gameplay Designer, on the other hand, I curated the design, implementation and balancing of various features and game modes, such as the all new Supercross Academy.

Floor Smash!

Floor Smash! was the third and last mobile hypercasual game of Affinity Project, an indie studio of 5 based in Italy where I worked as the sole Game Designer and Producer.

The gameplay revolves around a variety of bizarre objects ready to be dropped on the building below and destroy as many floors as possible.

Bomb Jump!

Bomb Jump! was the second mobile hypercasual game of Affinity Project, an indie studio of 5 based in Italy where I worked as the sole Game Designer and Producer.

It marked the start of our collaboration with mobile publishers such as Kwalee, Lion Studios and Boombit!, and was our first remotely-developed game due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

After an initial round of pitching ideas, I focused on a game formula based on an explosion-powered skier jumping down a mountain and always seeking new distance records.

Bounce that Bird!

🏆 2020 nomination as a finalist in the European Google Play Indie Game Festival.

Bounce That Bird! was the first mobile hypercasual game of Affinity Project, an indie studio of 5 based in Italy where I worked as the sole Game Designer and Producer.

I developed the core game concept of a bird too chubby to fly, forced to skillfully bounce from treetop to treetop, and implemented it along with all the levels throughout the initial 5-week development cycle, which was later followed by various updates throughout 2020.
